search and filter custom fields

hello, in the pods widget is the search bar the standard wordpress one? or is it a separate search bar for Custom Pods?
Do you know if it is also possible to enable the search for custom fields (for example with a snipet of code to be inserted in the child theme’s function.php) in the search bar of the pods. I’ve tried various plug-ins and add-ons that enable custom file search but modify the table template I made, and use the default wordpress archive template. We would like to filter the pods keeping the tabular template made by me is it possible?
pity it is the only thing that is missing from this excellent plugin, congratulations.
do you know if it will be implemented soon?
one last thing, I can’t figure out what it’s for and how to use the “filter fields” field in the “pods item list” block settings
