Search a specific page only

  • I would like the search to be able to search only a specific page of events.

    Is that possible.

    Can the product be advised via shortcode only to search a specific page so it can also be used to search the site on other pages?

    Hi Steve,

    I assume, that the page has a list of events(?). Unfortunately there is no way to limit the results that way. You can exclude results by their IDs under the Advanced Options panel though.

    Yes it is a list of events.

    However the plugin does not even find results from the page. The page is here:

    unicorndream.co.uk.test and there is an event for Swindon. If I search Swindon I get a nil found result…..

    Hi Steve,

    It does not look like the events are stored as a separate post type. Try checking the post type list under the General Options -> Sources panel. If there is an event post type, or anything similar, make sure to select it. If not, then it is probably not possible.
