    Hello again, Tobias

Now that I have the column width issue sorted out, the next thing I wanted to do was add a fixed header. So I’m now calling the table as follows

    [table id=39 datatables_fixedheader=top responsive=”scroll” /]

Unfortunately, when I scroll the table to see the right-side columns, the fixed header does not also scroll, and indeed, as you can see, it has “broken” out of its container on the page to show the full width of the table.

Is this fixable, or is it a bug, or a limitation of the Javascript library?

Tks for any further suggestions/help you can offer

    David.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I know what you mean, and unfortunately, I have to disappoint you here. This is indeed a limitation of the JavaScript library. It can not account for horizontal position changes (i.e. scrolling) and will therefore not move together with the table.

I’m really sorry for not having better news here.

    Regards,
    Tobias
