Scrolling theme?

  • Hi,

    I have built a site with the functionality that I want. So now I am looking for a certain look to my site, but I’m somewhat useless at design. What I want is something that resembles the style of https://sumzero.com/

    Anyone got a suggestion for a theme (paid or free), that resembles the above website? I know it’s not a wordpress site, but I know I’ve seen wordpress like sites that achieve something similar through themes and/or plugins.

    What I like about it is

    1)how they’ve put most of it on a single page, and the top menu is used to just scroll down.
    2)how it uses the entire screen, with no side menu
    3)how it seems to have different formats for different “scroll levels”. Like the front page has one single column, but click “Research”, and it scrolls down to a two column format, where the right hand column is images. This part here I think I can figure out with plugins, but any ideas are still appreciated.

  • We can only suggest that you try browsing the themes in the Theme Repository. Using the Themes Feature Filter should allow you to narrow down the list of choices by functionality, colour, layout etc. Any additional functionality that you need may be added via plugins.

    you can check the themes named ‘Polmo’ & ‘Coffeeshop’, as they are good for the purpose you’re looking for and could be interesting for you.
