I’m experiencing a scrolling problem. Some pages of the table (80 rows paginated) do not auto center and scroll, but by clicking “next” to the next page auto center scrolling seems to work. Again clicking next to the next page and again it doesn’t work.
Also the columns don’t seem to align with the header row. Not sure if this is related or not.
This shows up in Firefox, IE, and Chrome, but seems to display correctly in Safari.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

    thanks for the link!

The problem here is the “Horizontal Scrolling”. That causes the mismatch between the body rows and the header row, and probably also the other scrolling issue. It’s usually a nice feature, but it just doesn’t work sometimes, depending on the table data and the theme’s own CSS code.

Until this works more reliably (which would require an update of the JavaScript library that TablePress uses for that), I can only suggest to turn off “Horizontal Scrolling” for this table (on the “Edit” screen), and then maybe to remove some unnecessary columns from the table to make everything fit into the limited content area of the theme.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Thanks Tobias. I was afraid that might be the issue.
I’ll find a work around of some sort.
    Cheers and Merry Christmas!

    Hi,

no problem, you are very welcome! Sorry that I don’t have a solution to this ??
If you find something that might be interesting for others with this issue, it would be great if you could share that. Thanks!

Best wishes and Merry Christmas to you, too!
