Scrolling images not working

I’ve got a set of 23 scrolling images in my header (https://coffswebdesign.com.au/tigers/) just below the ‘Follow Us On’ section. Most of the images in the scroller don’t show – the only ones that do are the ones without hyperlinks so this led me to believe it may be an issue with the ‘a href’s in the header. I checked the .css file for the header (which is actually a .php file with CSS code in it) and discovered that the hyperlinks were set to ‘display:block’. I don’t really know how to work around this without the text showing over top of the Twitter and RSS icons.

Has anyone got any solutions to this issue?
