• I have added the css coding your documentation recommends for setting a fixed height. However, for my submenus that are higher than the “px” height setting, there is no scrollbar and the bottom items are unavailable. This occurs in my main nav menu in the submenus under “Library>Topics” and under “Links>Organizations. Please help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Richard,

That CSS only applies to mega menu style sub menus. Switching to a mega menu might be a more suitable choice for you with that many items to organise. Otherwise this CSS would help:

Hi Tom, I ended up purchasing Max Mega Menu and have set up two tabbed mega menus. The longer sub-menus now scroll properly and I frankly think are more friendly to the user.

However, I have two concerns. One is that the scroll-bar width varies from browser to browser, some very thin, some wider than I would like, some looking nicer than others. Is there CSS which would force the same width across all browsers?

Second I have set up a search box on the menu bar. The search icon has a background color different than that of the menu bar. However, I don’t see a way to vertically center the icon with the differing color. Can it be done?

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for upgrading. We’re only allowed to support the free version of the plugin here. If you haven’t already done so, please can you get in touch through https://www.megamenu.com/support/ ?

    Thanks,
    Tom
