• Hi,

There is an error on my page with the Theme Botiga. When I click on the scroll up button, it redirects me to the privacy policy page.

I need the button to only scroll up and not redirect anywhere.

Can you please check it? Thank you!

  • Hi @tatiayala,

Upon inspection, you are currently having a broken privacy policy link in your footer. If you can, please go to your site’s Customizer > Footer, and remove any privacy policy link. Then add the valid link, for example:

    Privacy Policy

Could you please help me indicating how to remove it?

I tried to do it from the “footer” section of your botiga theme editor, but it won’t let me remove the link inserted in the copyright area ??

    Thanks!

Did you mean you couldn’t save the changes? Please confirm.

Hi. No, I can’t edit it. Can you please help me?

In the footer editor, in the copyright section, there is no place where I can remove the privacy policy link, or at least I can’t find it.

The only thing I want is that when I click on the scroll up button, the page simply scrolls to the top, without linking to any other page.

    Thank you! ??

Hello, after a lot of thought, it seems that in the end the error was caused by the newsletter registration form in the footer.

It was missing a “” inside the form and it affected the whole footer ??

    Thanks for your help!!

    Hi @tatiayala,

I checked your site’s scroll-to-top button. And it works fine now.

It was missing a “” inside the form and it affected the whole footer

Glad to know you found the root of the issue.

FYI: Form content is not part of the theme’s code. It is handled separately with additional plugin.
