    Hello,
I have created a sticky header on my homepage and it functions fine except for one issue. When I set the header effects (goes semi-transparent and sticks) to activate after X pixels of scrolling, it also works fine until I scroll back up to the very top, and then there is this flash of gray at the header when I reach the top of the page. Now if I set the header effects to activate immediately, without any delay (i.e., set to 0 pixels) of scrolling, I do not get this flash when I scroll back up to the top of the page; however, the black header stays semitransparent instead of becoming completely opaque again, as it does when I have a scrolling delay set.

When I disable this plugin, I do not get this error.

Any idea why this is happening?

I set this up before and did not have this issue. I am hosting my site on DreamHost (using their DreamPress hosting). I am using an Astra theme. I have the Elementor Pro plugin.

    Thanks.

Hi, I see the problem you are having. Can you please make sure the header stretch section is OFF and my transparent header option is ON. This fix might not show on the elementor editing page so please be sure to check the preview.
Let me know if this works for you.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, this didn’t work. I had this working nicely. Now it’s like no matter which settings I try, I just make matters worse.

I’m going to make a copy of the page and see if I can’t figure this out. It’s something simple and obvious. I will make sure to do what you’ve instructed as I experiment. If I cannot make any headway, I’ll let you know. Thanks very much for replying.

To conclude this post, I did use a successful workaround that Elementor support provided me, so I did not end up using this plugin. That said, I did get this to work once using this plugin without issues, but I could not replicate it no matter what I tried, including your suggestions.
