Scroll speed on Chrome mobile

  • Hi, I have noticed that when viewing a ticker on Chrome on mobile (Android), the speed is super fast compared to desktop. I have set the speed to 20, which is perfect for desktop but on mobile it is too fast. If I reduce this for mobile, then desktop is too slow. Is there a way to set a separate speed for desktop and mobile?

    The scroll speed should be very similar regardless of browser/device. Can I get a link to your site to check it out?

    The scrolling uses the “requestAnimationFrame” function which is based on the refresh rate of your browser, which is normally around 60fps. I have had a couple other users who tracked down issues with other plugins that were affecting the scroll speed on mobile. It’s possible there are other scripts running that are affecting the timing on your site.
