• Hello everyone,

I am currently facing an issue on my website, and I’m hoping you can assist me in resolving it. Whenever I refresh the homepage or quickly interrupt the page loading, the scroll down functionality becomes unresponsive. The page fails to load in its entirety, limiting my ability to scroll down and access the remaining content. This problem also occurs on other pages throughout my site.

Here’s an overview of the situation and the steps I’ve taken so far:

    • I have installed the WP Rocket plugin to optimize my site’s performance.
    • I have utilized the CSS minification feature to reduce file sizes.
    • I have examined the browser console for any potential errors, but I haven’t found anything specific related to this issue.

Despite these efforts, I am still encountering this persistent scrolling problem after page refreshes, interrupted loading, and even when navigating back to certain pages on my site. I understand that several potential causes could contribute to this issue, such as partial page loading, pending JavaScript scripts, or resource loading errors.

Therefore, I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter. If any of you have experienced a similar issue or possess expertise in this area, I would greatly appreciate your insights, suggestions, or potential solutions.

Thank you in advance for your valuable assistance!

    Best regards,

  • Hi @levraientruv

I don’t see any scrolling issues on your site. If the issue, started showing after optimization with the WP Rocket plugin, it means some CSS/JS files should not be optimized. I suggest re-checking optimized files, and deactivating them first, to see if the issues went away. After starting the optimization process again.

Also since you’re using WP Rocket plugin, I suggest contacting them directly.

    Cheers,

    Hi Nastia,

Thank you very much for your prompt response. I want to assure you that the scrolling issue on our website is indeed present. To notice it, all you need to do is navigate through the site, especially the homepage and the shop, and then go back using the back arrows in the Google browser.

By doing so, you will observe that the page only loads within the content area of the screen, and the Google scrollbar on the right-hand side disappears. It appears that the page is reduced to the size of a section of a page, significantly limiting the browsing experience.

I have tested disabling WP Rocket, but the issue persists. Therefore, it seems that CSS/JS files are not the cause of this malfunction.

We have also reached out directly to the WP Rocket team for their assistance, but we have not yet received a response from them.

We would greatly appreciate any further suggestions or assistance you can provide to resolve this scrolling problem.

Thank you again for your attention and help.

    Warm regards,
