• O.k so this is driving me up the wall, have tried everything under the sun but when it comes down to it I just don’t get it.

The pictures on my site don’t load the theme doesn’t load and it seem as though it load at night but not during the day! (if that makes sense!)
I got in contact with my server explained the problem an this is what they wrote back:
    Thank you for your query

It appears that your website is database driven. In this case, may we kindly ask you to check the scripts in your website, because we are inclined to believe that they are not closing connections to your database efficiently thus causing the performance issue on your website.

I have no idea how to do this or check this, if someone could please shed some light I would be eternally grateful.

    my site is https://www.aamyko.com

  • that’s a fairly lame answer from a lame host
you could disable your plugins and reactivate one by one to see if one of them is not playing nice

Yes the answer from the host was crappy but then again what can ya do?
I deactivated my plugins and the reactivated them 1 by 1 but sadly this did not solve the problem.
    Any other suggestions?

It’s strange how the images seem to appear in the evening and the site tends to load then, but in the morning it’s a mess!
Is there anyone out there that can shed a bit of light?

It is more likely that you are experiencing load issues a plugin like WP Super Cache should help with what sounds like possibly performance related issues.

The two most common causes that I’ve seen is a fubared plugin &/or a fubared theme. So if disabling the plugins didn’t resolve it & changing the theme to the default one didn’t either, then it becomes issues I’ve seen less of personally, but since it changes based on the time of the day it might be related to performance which is why I made that suggestion.
