Hi Gijo,

Thanks for the awesome plugin. Your plugins are unique and very useful.

1. I have added external scripts to flying press but they still load on GTmetrix. I’ve tried increasing the execution time(if users inactive) but still no effect.

Do you have any suggestions?

2. Also, the scripts lazy load in my browser, but randomly at times one of them(intercom chat) doesn’t work. The scripts are added using intercom plugin. There are 3 scripts added from that plugin & I lazy loaded all of them.

Share GTmetrix url. Give more information about which scripts are you trying to delay, what keywords you included etc.

Here are the script tags

fbevents.js
analytics.js
adsbygoogle.js
OneSignalSDK.js

It seems like now GTmetrix does not load those scripts.

I am using Swift performance pro, Autoptimize & flying scripts.

It seems like at times Swift created cache without flying script working(at least according to GTmetrix, or maybe gtmetrix was caching the results)

@fznshaikh maybe it’s due to Swift. Can you try disabling Swift and see if it’s working?

I am not sure actually.
I generated swift cache& test on GTmetrix on different locations at the same time.

Results:
USA: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/photographycourse.net/l2tve0HJ working
Hong Kong: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/photographycourse.net/t4d1VPHT working
London: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/photographycourse.net/TRW15enj working
Canada: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/photographycourse.net/EOidjNOA not working

And the weird thing is that on some locations, it does not work as expected, but after retesting it works.

Example in US:

@fznshaikh GTmetrix waits for 2s until there is no network activity. So if due to network latency, files took longer and crosses the timeout of Flying Scripts, it will be loaded.

@gijo I see. But the timeout I’ve set on flying scripts is 4/5 seconds. Shouldn’t it not be loading then?
