script you provided for default checked not working

  • I can confirm the same problem after updating to latest WooCommerce and WordPress. The box is no longer checked by default. This should be a built-in setting.

    When can we expect a fix?

    After adding the provided script back into footer.php, the box is again checked by default. It seems I must have lost the customization when upgrading my theme. A built-in setting would resolve this problem from occurring in the first place.
