Script for HTML-Head & Body- GDPR Cookie Consent Plugin

Hello,
I have the free version of the GDPR Cookie Consent Plugin and trying to set all possible settings correct. Unfortunately it looks like all Cookies are set automatically, no matter if the are accepted or not, although I made a list and all relevant settings.
After studying the documentation it looks like I have to write HTML script to be added at the HTML-HEAD and HTML-BODY-Tag to my website to avoid the Non-necessary cookies are saved in the browser of the user. Is this correct?
I installed your plugin as I am not able to write code.
Is there a code you can supply my, please?
This would save my day!
