Some script delays the loading thg my website. When I turn your plugin off in WordPress 6.0 the delay is gone.
The delay occurs when I wan’t to change options in the consent form when loading the page.
One other thing the troubleshoot link for this plugin is gone, it does not show up in the plugin list by sitekit Google!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @softwaregeek,

Thanks for reaching out. If you have Google Analytics, AdSense or other scripts added via Google Tag Manager on your site these do make additional https requests between your website and these services. Whether you use Site Kit to connect these services, or manually add them yourself the scripts that are requests will be the same.

We’ve added some details on the plugin website in relation to performance, with details on how Site Kit works with these services, and associated resources.

As you’re using a consent type plugin note that such plugins may have the ability to alter the behavior of a Site Kit or non Site Kit placed snippet. I would therefore suggest that if you want to perform additional troubleshooting that you review the consent plugin in use settings, or troubleshoot with your consent plugin temporary deactivated (with both manually inserted snippets and also using Site Kit).

Do let me know if you have any queries with the above and I’d be happy to assist further.

One other thing the troubleshoot link for this plugin is gone, it does not show up in the plugin list by sitekit Google!

Are you referring to the Site Kit plugin being available to troubleshoot, when using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin? If so review any errors output when checking your Site Health status, which may include REST related errors (Tools > Site Health > Status). If not let me know where you see this and I’d be happy to check this from my side.

There are errors in the REST api like <context> and the “rest api does not respond as expected ,<context>”

    Hi @softwaregeek,

    Many thanks for the update.

When you mentioned “One other thing the troubleshoot link for this plugin is gone” was this in relation to using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin? If so the “rest api does not respond as expected” error you kindly shared may be the cause of any issues with the Health Check & Troubleshooting check, specifically why you can’t see the Site Kit plugin available as one of the plugins to troubleshoot. You can reach out in this plugins support forums for assistance on this.

If you are referring to the troubleshooting link elsewhere let me know and I can perform additional checks.

I’ll also respond to your plugin review now regarding performance. I’m happy to run through any plugin checks if you wish, similar to a previous support topic. The delays you’re reporting from the scripts are not from Site Kit plugin scripts, these are service scripts, ie. Analytics and/or AdSense and other services.

    Hi @softwaregeek,

Just following up with you to check whether the issue you reported persists, in relation to the troubleshooting link? If you want to share details on this I’d be happy to assist.

I’m busy debugging the staging site to look for any errors pointing me to the right direction. The delay in the site has NOT been the error of the sitekit, something els was and still is bugging it.
Came up with possible bugs in some other plugins I have contacted the developers and try to wok it out with them.
    Thank you.

Appreciate the update, and sharing details of your debugging. Based on your comments I’ll close this support topic. Please do, however, reach out if you have any further Site Kit related queries and we’d be more than happy to troubleshoot or debug with you.
