    Hello @uvozov

I was unable to determine the root cause of the issues at my end. To narrow down further, could you use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin and enable its troubleshooting mode. This mode disables active plugins and switches to a default theme safely since it only affects the experience of the logged-in user.

    – Please enable the AMP plugin and let me know if the issue is present.
    – Enabling plugins and your theme one by one in this mode may help pinpoint if something else is involved.
    – Note you can disable troubleshooting mode from the plugins page.

    Hello @milindmore22

    Thanks for the reply.

I get what I am required to do, but I’m not good at checking AMP issues. Now the Google Search Console writes to me about the problems, so I turned to you.

I would be grateful if you could tell me how to test the AMP plugin myself in troubleshooting mode. ??

    Hello @uvozov

Begin with installing Chrome Extension for AMP Validation

Now to find the culprit follow the below steps, don’t worry activating the Health and Troubleshooting only show changes to site admin, it does not affect regular site visitors(non-Admins).

    1. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    2. Navigate to Tools > Site Health > Troubleshooting.
    3. Enable trouble shooting mode
    4. Visit Appearance-> Themes -> Activate Your theme
    5. Visit Plugins-> Installed plugins -> Activate AMP plugin
    6. Visit plugin -> installed plugins and activate one of the plugin (only one at a time) which was active on your site
    7. Visit your homepage’s AMP version ie. https://uvozov.ru/amp/
    8. Check Chrome extension if it doesn’t display any error (green) repet step 6
    9. Check Chrome extension if display any error (red) great! we have found the culprit
    10. check and toggle it’s settings, also inform us

    Hello @milindmore22

Thank you so much for the detailed instructions. I understood everything and went to look for the culprit.

I’ll come back with the results later.

First step: Installed and activated the Health check and troubleshooting plugin.

When I go to the health check section, I see the message:”The AMP plugin performs at its best when persistent object cache is enabled. Object caching is used to more effectively store image dimensions and parsed CSS.“.

The second step: enabled the problem solving mode, activated your theme (Astra), enabled the AMP plugin.

When switching to https://uvozov.ru/amp/ the Chrome extension reports an error: “Tag ‘html’ marked with attribute ‘data-ampdevmode’. Validator will suppress errors regarding any other tag with this attribute.

    Hello @uvozov

The data-ampdevmode suggest that you are in dev mode which means you are logged in as administrator and you have the admin bar enabled, you can ignore that and continue with testing from step 6, let us know if you encounter anything else than data-ampdevmode once you activate other plugins.

    Hurray!

The problem seems to be solved. AMP behaved strangely when connecting the WP-FFPC plugin, with which Memcached is configured. On the working site, I deactivated the plugin. Then I checked AMP using the AMP Page checker tool in the Google Search Console. Chrome extensions for checking AMP also shows a green check mark.

@milindmore22 , please check if everything is working correctly?

And tell me, please, how do we configure Memcached so that it does not affect the operation of AMP?

    Hello @uvozov

Thank you for debugging and finding the conflict with the WP-FFPC plugin, As I re-checked your site on AMP Validator it seems valid.

I was unable to reproduce it on my local machine and I am still debugging it.

In the meantime feel free to check our documentation for Persistent Object caching and Page Caching to learn more about it and find alternatives.
