    Wait Frannny, I think the issue is solved

    scripts are not permitted in the wordpress post editor

    the solution
    use a plugin such shortcoder to do the stuff ??
    that way you will insert the script using a shortcode

    please try it and get back to me

    I tried it and left it on the same post as above for you to look at if you like but it still doesn’t work for some reason. The plugin hasn’t been updated for two years though perhaps that’s why. I checked the other plugins but from what I saw they don’t allow you to make your own.

    no, Shortcoder is still a great plugin, you just have to insert the code in the “text” tab field not in the “HTML” tab editor
