Scribd Embed is working except "Download"

I have a document using the scribd wordpress shortcode. it all works except the “Download” link in the upper left does nothing:

I had to resort to the flash version on my production site which does work. There is nothing I can find as to why everything but that works. Is it a scribd issue or WP issue?

I can use the flash but it is just more code to insert instead of the nice shortcode.
