Screw Firefox

  • It cratered on me this morning for unknown reasons. Uninstall/reinstall doesn’t fix the problem. Downloaded 0.9, won’t run either. Mozilla, IE, Opera all run fine. Firefox has borked on me. The honeymoon is over.

  • Delete your Firefox profile (in 2000/XP it is in your c:/documents and settings/<username>/application data folder) and then start Firefox up. 99% of these weird problems have to do with a corrupt profile.
    Make sure you copy your bookmarks before deleting the folder. Don’t want to lose them.

    My feed (generated from WordPress) isn’t working in Firefox 1.0PR, and I’m not the first to report this.

    I haven’t uninstalled Firefox in a long time and I have been upgrading regularly. I think some of you are just unlucky. ??

    For me it is certain extensions which cause upgrades to bork – so I now get rid of them before the next upgrade.
