First, are you logged in with an administrator account?

If so, can you try disabling all of your other plugins to see if the problem persists?

Alternatively, you could enable debug and visit the settings page to populate the logfile and send it to us here: https://akismet.com/contact

Debug can be enabled by following the steps in this guide:
    https://docs.akismet.com/general/how-do-i-debug-the-akismet-plugin/

    Hello,

I have the same issue. I couldn’t get those debugging instructions do anything, but using standard debug I got this message:

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/studiofo/public_html/www.rondotheatrecompany.org/wp-content/plugins/akismet/class.akismet-admin.php on line 805

    Thanks

    Hi Lisa,

Can you try disabling all other plugins on your site to see if the problem persists? If that doesn’t help, drop us a line directly here with your API key and site URL: https://akismet.com/contact

This is happening to me on all my sites, even a brand new site with the default theme, and the only plugin is Akismet.

Clicking Akismet under Settings take me to the stats summary page, with no options to change any settings.

Clicking Summaries takes me to a detailed stats page with a “Settings” button at the top. Clicking that takes me back to the previous page.

There is no way to access settings anywhere.

Just saw this after I posted the same issue with the latest update. One of my older sites had 3.1.1 so I checked and same problem. Since this happens with all my sites on the same server, it could be a problem with a webhost configuration if this is not a problem fore everyone.

I’ve narrowed down the source of this problem to a misconfiguration in the Akismet.com account for the affected user.

@baby-85, @fusionx22, @ljt79, and @laserjobs: Can you email [email protected] with your API key so that I can check each of your accounts and fix them up?

    Hello,
I deleted that key and got another one as I needed to get things moving. It seems to be working at the moment.
I’ll email the current key if that’s OK just to make sure nothing odd is going on.
    Thanks for looking into this.

@ljt79: If your new key is working, then no need to email. If you still want to, we can certainly check that everything is working as expected.
