If that does not work, just for testing purposes, disable all of your plugins and switch to the default theme. See if the editor returns.

If that does gets the editor back, then start by re-applying your theme and turning on your plugins one at a time until the editor disappears again. That will help you identify which plugin may be causing a problem.
