screen options: location -please help-

Up the top right hand side is the Screen Options panel, click it and it’ll slide down! Then you can select your panels from there.

Tareq- thanks so much for your response! I am able to find the Screen Options panel on the top right, but when it drops down, there is no Location box for me to check and enable. This is my problem ??

Ah ok, I misunderstood then, my bad!

On the post edit screen, in the right hand sidebar is the Publish Panel where it says Visibility: Public etc. Click edit on that item then select stick this post to the front page.

Save this then the Location Panel will appear on the right sidebar at the bottom. You can then turn the Sticky setting off if you wish and the Location Panel should stay put.

Tareq- wow thanks for looking that up and responding so quickly. However, I tried this and it did not work. Is it possible I have something selected somewhere that is preventing the solution you suggested from happening? Essentially I have followed the steps below so these are the settings I have assigned:

But when I get to Step 4 and have to find that locations option, that is where I fail…

I’ve tagged the theme author in on this so they can have a look for you…if they’re still around.

This one has really stumped me now…just about to snapshot my post edit screen on my dev install and now the Location Panel has disappeared…

I’ll keep trying, I don’t like being defeated.
