Screen Freeze when adding an image

  • I was hoping someone could help me. I uploaded a jpeg image to my site, but when I try to add the image in a post, the “Add an Image” screen goes white and nothing happens. I can get the image in there as a thumbnail but that’s it.

    What can I do to resolve this issue?

    All images. Regardless of whether I try to insert the image from the gallery (upload is fine) or directly from my hard drive. I click “insert into post” and then the “add an image” screen pops up, but it is blank and freezes. Nothing happens and if you exit out of it there’s no image in the post. I’ve tried deactivating plugins, etc. but nothing seems to help.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – increasing your available memory?
