Screen flashes when timer loads

Hello!
When the plugin initializes the widget on the page, it does a complete blink refresh, redrawing the whole page. Can this be fine-tuned a bit so it loads sooner than everything else, so it doesn’t have to do it? It’s very annoying, though a small few milliseconds only.
I tested it, without the countdown the page doesn’t do it.
