• Im having a problem with comments – if you go to https://reachingmorepeople.co.uk and try to post a comment, youll see what i mean.

After hitting submit comment I get the following url in my address bar:
    https://reachingmorepeople.co.uk/wp-comments-post.php

but the screen is blank. then, when i return to the blog, no comment is added.

Im trying to figure out the source of this problem and how i can get around it.

WordPress was already installed when i ‘got there’, so it may be server settings or the way in which wordpress was installed. I installed the particular theme myself, i would not logically assume it was something wrong with the theme itself as wp-comments-post.php is not within the theme files, but am not sure. I also have quite a few plugins installed mostly to help SEO.

Has anyone experienced anything like this or any ideas on what the cause of this might be?

I havent much knowledge of php so am a bit lost here.

    I am using version 2.8.6

    * i have tried my best to make sure all my plugins are compatible for my version of wordpress.

But have you deactivated all your plugins to see if the problem goes away?

The first step with any problem is to deactivate all plugins, and switch to default theme, see if the problem is still there. If the problem goes away, reactivate things one by one til you find your conflict
