I created a page to explain the operation according to each situation:
https://www.wcp.net.br/users-predictions/knockout-points/
But basically works the way seguinta:
1) You only earn the bonus for hitting the goal difference if he has predicted that the match will end in a draw after regular time.
2) The bonus for hitting the number of goals will only be applied in relation to the fulltime score. That is, if the user makes the prediction that the game will end 3-2 and after the match finished tied for 1×1 and shoot out the final score is 3-1, he does not earn points, even though the aggregate was 4×2.
3) The prediction regarding the winner of the match remains valid for the decision of the shootout. That is, even if the game ends in a draw, if the user has hit the winner, he gets the points.
4) The prediction regarding the correct score takes into account the aggregate departure. That is, if the user makes a prediction score of 4-3 and the game finished tied for 1×1, but the result is the penalty shootout 3-2, he will gain points for hitting the correct score.
In short, the score for the penalty shootout is quite complex. Many sites do not use and I particularly prefer not to use it too. But feel free to choose to use it or not, if you understand its operation.
