• I think I am having a similar issue to another user about scores not updating. The past few days, new posts’ social score is not updating. Debugging does not show any errors that I can see (but I admit that I don’t really know how to read the debugging info)

    Updating the scores and recalculating rankings does not populate values in the Social Score. Comments and Views are updating correctly. When I go to the sharecount website, the information displayed there is current, and on each individual post I can see the rankings using the social button tools. I have tried deactivating the tool and reactivating but the numbers don’t change.

    I am running the newest version of this tool.. 1.2.5

    If you try to manually update a post by clicking “Update Stats” under an individual post on the Social Metrics Tracker reporting view, does it still not update the numbers?

    I am currently working on a major update (version 1.3) which will change the way social scores are updated by fetching the numbers directly from the social networks. This version should be ready within a few weeks and I think it should resolve this issue when I am able to release it.

    Yes, I actually had tried to do that when I first installed the plugin on last week Friday, it had never worked and I just chalked it up to the local storage…i assumed that within the next 8-12 hours the numbers would change. But after the weekend, it became apparent that it was not just a simple waiting game.

    If you have an email I can share a screenshot of the debugger data so you can maybe at least tell me if it’s an issue on my servers end? other than one you are hoping to resolve with your next release.

    Just to confirm, you installed the plugin on Friday (about 3 days ago) and it was your first time using the plugin and all of the social numbers still say zero?
