[email protected] not being blocked

    I’ve registered with https://cleantalk.org/ & generated an Access key that I’ve used to activate the WordPress plugin. I waited at least 10 minutes & sent a couple of test enquiry forms using the [email protected] email address.

    Both test emails arrived without getting blocked. Any help appreciated.

    Hello @alpha-state.

    I made test requests on your site, they were blocked, as they should be. Most likely, you made requests as a site administrator. Such requests are excluded from checks by default.

    You can use incognito mode in your browser to check.

    Ah ok thanks. I’ve sone some more tests whil not logged in.

    After I filled in the form using the [email protected] email address, clicked the submit button & was sent to the ‘/thank-you/’ page that gets displayed, as usual. However the emails didn’t arrive, so I’m assuming that how it’s supposed to work. Is that correct?

    Hello,

    I’ve made a test and saw CleanTalk blocked message, but then the form was redirected to the ‘/thank-you/’. Seems like protection is working. Could you tell us what plugin you use for your contact form?

    The site is using the Divi page builder & as such is using the built in contact form module. The dashboard has now reported the test I just tried with [email protected], & it’s reporting 6 spam blocks yesterday with the [email protected] & [email protected] addresses, so it loss like it’s working.
