Shrinking midsection to length of page

Hi,

Doing up a test site right now. Using a theme called EYE CANDY as it suited my needs for an easy change to what I wanted.

However, if you look at my test site, the mid section of blue continues down past the footer. How can I stop the blue repeating background at the footer no matter how long the content is?

I found a theme called black minimalism that does it but cannot figure it out as of yet. And, no I won’t switch to BM as it is far more complicated than I need.
