I’m not sure where you are looking, but on the Seasons admin page, the slugs are listed for each league season.

Where does the “season” in the manage games screen pull from. Every where I check I have designated a season

Here’s the slug for the season

    Are these questions?

The Edit League screen directs you to the Seasons screen to manage the seasons. Teams are assigned to leagues, which have seasons. With the League Manager Add-ons plugin, you can also assign seasons to teams, which becomes important for sites that maintain historical archives of games, schedules, teams, etc. over multiple seasons.

    Here’s my question:
Why is my page not displaying schedule or results as I have followed all your instructions.

    Page in question:
    https://www.shermanoaksces.com/soces-sports/

The only place I can see an issue is the games are not being assigned to a season as displayed above. https://snag.gy/rWfVQY.jpg

    The season page https://snag.gy/IwndUD.jpg
    The league page https://snag.gy/UWPuF7.jpg

    Are all correct.
    Thus my question:
Where does the “season” in the manage games screen pull from since it’s not working.

Thanks for the screenshots, they help a lot.

It is not working because there are not games for the specified league and season. What shortcode incantation is on the page? Maybe the league slug is not correct? Isn’t the slug for Valley BB ‘valley-bb’ not ‘19015’? Season is the second column from the right on the Manage games screen. Go to the Manage Games screen, filter on the specified league (Valley BB?) and see what games come up. It appears you have the wrong league slug in your shortcode.

    Short Codes Attempted
    [mstw_lm_school_scoreboard school=’19015′ season=18-19-spring,spring-18-19]
    [mstw_lm_school_slider school=’19015′ season=18-19-spring,spring-18-19]
    [mstw_lm_sport_schedule sport=19016 season=18-19-spring]

    The 19015 is the school.

I wasn’t trying to display a league. I’m trying to start with all games from my school.

    I bought the add-on

    Plugin Author Mark O’Donnell

    (@markodonnell)

Okay, thanks. This is starting to make sense. When you use the school based shortcodes, the plugin will find all teams with slugs that start with the school=’xxx’, and then find all the games for those schools in the specified season. See the school scoreboard shortcode in https://shoalsummitsolutions.com/lmao-shortcodes/ So for example, if you have [mstw_lm_sport_schedule sport=19016 season=18-19-spring] it finds all the teams with slugs that start with ‘19016’, maybe 19016-basketball, 19016-girls-soccer, etc. Then finds all the games for those teams in the ’18-19-spring’ season.

Unfortunately, scoreboards do not allow you to display the sport for each game, like say, tickers and sliders, so they may not be quite right for showing the school’s games across ALL sports. The games will appear, but the sport will not. I will look at adding that as soon as I have some time.

So do I have to modify the slugs to start with 19016?

    Plugin Author Mark O’Donnell

    (@markodonnell)

Well, I wouldn’t choose 19016, but yes, all the teams need to start with the same string (that you want to use in the shortcode). You may have problems changing the slugs of teams already in use. Let me know if that’s the case.

OK, it was the season slug wan’t populated with the game information. I don’t know if it’s my fault or when I went from free to purchasing the addon.

A couple things I did notice:
    1. You can change the slug for a school in the quick edit but you can’t designated it when adding a team.
    2. Some items have quick edit when looking at the “lists” such as school and sports but others don’t such as teams. Quick edit is a good place to edit slugs.
