Schema Selecting Incorrect Image

Hello, we use woo commerce, and the main product image is not referred to as featured image in woo commerce, this is how blog posts or pages are named in the main image, for e-commerce on woo-commerce the main image is referred to as product image and the secondary product images, the images that show additional side or back views of a product are referred to as the product gallery, google webmaster is stating in our the product schema, that we are displaying our secondary images from the product gallery as the main image for our product schema, so a side product view or a back image of our product view, the type of images found in the product gallery. This is obviously a problem. IS there a way to fix this, and how do we select the “product image” from woo commerce as it is defined in woo commerce as our main image to display in our product schema. Also, we run thousands of products so manually going through is not what we expect will be the way to solve this. It seems the plugin pro and the woo commerce component of this plugin which we use both of is selecting the second product image for every product and not the main “product image” for every product, no one places the same image in both places and this messes up the UX for the site as essentially it shows the same image on the product page multiple times. This obviously messes up google shopping, mobile serps etc..
