• Hi,

Is there a way to disable the automatic Schema.org inclusion of the item “Organization” in the header?

As soon as one installs a SEO plugin or wants to optimize the website for Schema, this auto-including will mess up everything because the website ends up having the same Schema 2 times and the additional Schema risks to get ignored (since it needs to be added within the organization divs/spans).

First time I’m using your theme and while it looks cool, I’m somewhat amazed this hasn’t been addressed in the forum yet.

    Thanks

  • Hello @nicoter,

Can you open up a support ticket from the support form – https://wpastra.com/support/submit-a-ticket/

I will send you a child theme where I have removed the schema markup by overriding the templates from the Astra theme.

We are also working on improving the markup of the theme to make it possible to remove the schema markup using actions/filters and not needing to override theme templates, as that will be a recommended way to remove schema I am avoiding adding link to modified child theme here as other users might also use this in future.
