    Hello,

    I’ve tried applying the “How-to” and “FAQs” Schema to this article.
    How I did it?
    I used the Gutenberg Editor to make schema blocks, copied the HTML and pasted in the Classic Editor.

    The Google Structured Data Tool doesn’t show how-to or FAQs markup only shows “Newsarticle”.

    How to Code:
    <div class=”schema-how-to wp-block-yoast-how-to-block”>
    <p class=”schema-how-to-total-time”><span class=”schema-how-to-duration-time-text”>Time needed:?</span>1 minute.</p>
    <p class=”schema-how-to-description”>Any Telenor user can share balance by simply dialing</p>

      <li class=”schema-how-to-step”><strong class=”schema-how-to-step-name”>Dial *1*1*92345xx*amount#
      <p class=”schema-how-to-step-text”>Replace 92345xx with the number you want to share balance to, starting with 92. Replace “amount” with the amount you want to share (15-200).</p>

      <li class=”schema-how-to-step”><strong class=”schema-how-to-step-name”>Confirmation
      <p class=”schema-how-to-step-text”>Confirm by replying 1, and your balance will be shared.</p>

    </div>

    Help needed, thanks

  • Hi,

    When copy/pasting the HTML from Gutenberg Block into the Classic Editor the text gets transferred but not the underlying schema.

    However, we thank you for suggesting a new feature for one of our plugins. We’re not working on it at the moment but we’ll create a feature request for this, so our developers can consider this when planning updates.

    In the meantime, we suggest signing up for our newsletter as that is where we will announce product changes and updates. You can sign-up for it here https://yoast.com/newsletter/.

    Closed. No further concerns.
