    Hi

I’ve a website which has blog posts and FAQ pages.. I wanted to know if Yoast schema add faq markup to faq pages and articles schema tag to blog pages…

I know its fine for articles schema but not sure if it works for FAQs pages?

    Hello @kanojia

Thanks for your question. If you use the Yoast SEO FAQ block on the page and set the page type to FAQ in the schema tab, the FAQ schema is added.

Post types that don’t support?authorship?won’t allow you to output?Article?schema, because a valid?Article?requires an?author. So Article page type is our default setting for?Posts?(but?not?for?custom post types) and not Pages. You can read more here.

    I hope that helps.
