Hi, I love this plug-in, as it’s the cleanest I’ve found, and I’ve don’t allot of install and removals.

I just noticed on my homepage (specifically) the schema information is not updating when I update the info. I thought it might be Yoast related but I can’t seem to find a way to even locate the mis-information. Can you advise? I’m not running any Cache program, so i’m at a loss.

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi,

Thanks for sharing your feedback about the plugin, glad you like it.

When I test the front page of your site, I see that you have it set as your “About” page!

So, the description you see is actually coming from the page content.

To fix that. In the plugin settings, you can change that. If you don’t have an about page on your site, then just do not set it in the drop list.

P.S. If you have Yoast SEO plugin installed, the Schema plugin will automatically do not output the markup on front page, so the output you see is from Yoast SEO.

    Hi,

Thank you for the quick reply. I understand that the information should be coming from the page I set in the schema plug-in “About” but the content showing in the google markup tester, does not match the content on the page, if that makes sense.

I turned off the yoast plug-in to see if that made a difference, alas it did not. If I could pin down where the incorrect info was generating from I might could fix it.

Yoast tells me it takes the information from what I write. I am at a loss at present.

    I do thank you though.
