I haven’t registered for your plugin yet, but have some questions. I will post each separately, starting with your use model.

Your plugin Description says “This tool … generates the code and adds it to your WordPress website automatically.” I also watched your tutorial on “How to schema.org markup your pages”.

It looks like users login to your website and enter all the info to generate the structured data for each post and page. Since this is not done inside the WordPress Editor, is the structured data only stored on your website, and it is not stored in my WP database?

    Hi Mj,

You’re right, the customized structured data is stored in a server that we host. As the page is loaded, the plugin pulls the structured data out of the server cache. The default markup, however is not stored anywhere, it’s built locally, in WordPress codebase, on page load.

We’ve looked at having the data client side, however, the API’s of many plugin install is more complicated. The very recent WordPress REST API project should allow us to easily store the data client side.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hi Mark,

are there any news on this matter ?

    regards

    Rainer
