    Hello!

    Normally I plan to post some entries hours later and since some days this won’t work.

    When I am in the draft of the entry and change the date/time to something in the future and click on “Schedule” the blog entry will be shown in the list of entries (wp-admin/edit.php) as (in German) “geplant” (means “planned”).

    When the date/time of publishing is being arrived the entry isn’t being published and the list of the entries shows a red colored alert called (in German) “fehlende Planung” (means “missing planning”). You can see it on a screenshot at https://img.ly/efJ8.

    What does these “Fehlende Planung” mean? And how can I change this behavior?

    You need to Publish the post (not save as draft) and prior to clicking publish edit the post date and time, it will not show on blog until that date and time (leave enough time for cron to run, ie, don’t schedule it quite soon like a few minutes)

    Thanks to SwansonPhotos for your fast reply!

    But I haven’t saved it as a draft. When I a want to “Publish” a post which date/time is in the feature the “Publish” button changes to “Schedule” and this one I’ve clicked. And in the past it worked, only since some days it behaves so strange as described.

    I am using this feature since years and normally it worked. I didn’t changed something in the blog configuration (like updating to 3.3.1 some days ago; instead I am using 3.3.1 nearly since it was available for download).

    Another screenshot: https://img.ly/efKF – here you can see how it looked in the list of entries after I clicked on “Schedule”. Seems normal and it says (in German) that the posting is “Geplant” (planned).

    And when the time has come to publish the posting the entry changed to the behavior I’ve described in the first message and the screenshot posted there.

    Are you using a plugin related to scheduled posts or a custom theme with such included? Scheduled posts is part of WordPress’ core functionality. Also, is the post set to private?

    @swansonphotos:
    No, neither.

    And the posting hasn’t been set to private.

    This too changed on me 2 days ago. Everything for 3+ years working fine, no system updates or plugin changes on my end, and now nothing will Schedule-and-post properly. Would appreciate any advice.
