    Hi

Thanks for the plugin, firstly. Can you tell me how I could set up a scheduled user export? I’m assuming it’d be via a cron job, & I’ve installed WP Control, but I’m afraid I’m ignorant of hooks & PHP, so would appreciate some guidance as to how to do it.

    Thank you
    Pete

    Hi Pete,

Unfortunately, this plugin doesn’t have any out-of-the-box way to schedule an export.

Right now the plugin doesn’t have any hook that triggers an export, which I believe is necessary for WP Crontrol. Actually, this plugin doesn’t define any custom hook at all. Also, the output is a direct stream to the browser, which I don’t think is supported by WP Crontrol. So, I don’t think this plugin can work with WP Crontrol the way it is.

I can think in some ways to support this “scheduled export” feature, but all of them would require development time, which unfortunately I don’t have now.

But that’s a great suggestion that I will keep in mind and will be glad to implement in the future.

I am closing this topic now, but I am adding your suggestion to the project’s GitHub page:

    Thanks,
    Daniel.
