I’ve been updating my contact forms regularly and was annoyed to see the vCita scheduling turned on by default. In a previous post you mentioned this had been fixed, but as of v4.0.13 it is still on by default. Very annoying to have to manually turn it off for the many sites I manage.

Otherwise I’m very happy with this plugin and the attention you give it.

  • There is a fix patched in, but I did not increment the version yet because then people complain about too many versions too soon.

If you want to disable the “Schedule an Appointment” button
go to the “Scheduling” tab on the form edit page, uncheck this setting “Enable Online Scheduling with vCita”, then click “Save Changes”. You may have to repeat this for each form you want to it to be disabled on. If the form does not immediately reflect the new settings, make sure you are editing the same form your shortcode is on. Also, if you have a cache plugin: after making changes to your form, you have to empty the cache from the cache plugin settings. Also, if you do not empty the cache, it usually times out after about 5-20 minutes, and the new changes should appear.

Thanks, Mike. I didn’t have any problem disabling it. It’s just that I manage quite a few sites and it was getting tedious. I see you pushed out the next version. Many thanks for staying on top of things.
