Scheduling Issue

I write my post, I change the timestamp to a future day and time and I hit “Publish”. On the “Manage Posts” page it says “scheduled” for “x hours from now”. When I go to the site after the scheduled time, the post doesn’t appear. I look at the “Manage Posts” page again and it says “scheduled” for “x hours from now”. Obviously, I’m doing something wrong. I’ve seen this topic discussed a lot but have seen no answers to this issue.
