• Hi all, I recently did an update and now I can not schedule posts. When I try to schedule a post in the future it won’t allow me to, only publish now. I’m on Chrome and tried it on firefox, it wouldn’t work on either one.

Is anyone else having this issue?

  • Hello,

Deactivate all the plugins and activate any WP default twenty theme and then try to add scheduling post. Maybe, any plugin or theme scripts that is disturbing the scheduling functionality of the WP.

    Thanks,

that totally freaks me out to deactivate everything, i don’t use the twenty theme as it had a virus and I had to pay someone a lot of money to fix it…any other solutions?

I am also facing the same issue since about a month. If I schedule in future time, and press schedule button, I then see a message Published, and it indeed publishes. Not sure what is going on.

I’m glad to hear i’m not the only one…I’m going to try the deactivating everything to see what happens…wish me luck

This morning I woke up to an update for my SEO Yoast, after running the update the problem resolved itself.

    Thank you for the response!

Hmm – I don’t have that Plugin – so may be it’s some other plugin that needs an update. Will have to try one by one.
    But good for you!

My issue continues. Anyone else with same problem? I have a busy blog and not easy to deactivate all plugins and try one by one. Though all are updated to latest versions of each.
