scheduling a post

Every time I set a post to publish at a certain time say 10:00 I wait until that time to check if it publishes automatically but it doesn’t.

My guess is that this might be because my WordPress time isn’t the same as the local time of where I live?

Is there a way to check if the times are the same? and how do I change the time on WordPress to match my local time?
