Hi. The plugin looks great. I’m trying the free version to schedule a backup on my localhost, but it doesn’t do anything. I can run the backup manually, and it works. Just not with the scheduler. What am I missing? thanks.

    Dear @guywp

The backup schedule works along with WP-Cron. If WP-Cron is working correctly on your side, then the scheduled backups must run.
We recommend you to install a plugin like WP Crontrol to check the scheduled events in your website and you will find BackupGuard schedule event there.

Hi Thankyou for that. I installed it, and it looks like everything is running fine. It lists Backup Guard action “backup_guard_schedule_action()” as “Once Hourly”.

Maybe I’m not using it correctly? On the Backups page, it doesn’t list any backups other than the ones I ran manually. And in the folder, \wp-content\uploads\backup-guard\ it only has the backups I ran manually. Am I missing something else?

    thanks.
