  • Hi, have you got any replies to the cause of this?
I have also experienced sale that do not auto end.

Hi @danielbuvens, have you tried inspecting your Woocommerce files and/or templates? Check if you see any outdated templates.

Go to Woocommerce >> System Status. Check the Theme and Template overrides. Let us know how it goes. Thanks.

Hi, have you got any replies to the cause of this?
I have also experienced sale that do not auto end. [2]

Anyone out there got any advice for this one as I have 124 products on schedule sale due to end yesterday but nope they’re still on sale ??

Like others here I have the same issue with scheduled sales not closing on the date scheduled – with Easter sales about to start and about 300 products about to go on sale, having to turn them all off manually is not only onerous but frustrating when we are processing so many orders during the sale period.

I have just run a quick test on a couple of products which should no longer be on sale after midnight today (my time is 12.12am) and the sales are still active.

I would really like some pointers on solutions, even if a paid plugin will resolve this.

    The problem is here https://www.patersonrose.com/

I have copied my log below and you can see the only override is an email template so I doubt that is an issue?

Use WP DEBUG BAR and WP DEBUG BAR CRON – this will tell you if the cron job is running to turn off sales.

Thanks Mike Jolley – ok so it appears that Cron Jobs are not running, as outlined below, so is woocommerce meant to automatically set this up, or do I now need to contact my host and get it turned on – the cron jobs to run the scheduler? A lot of conflicting info when I search so am staying with the author ??

De-activate and re-activate then check cron jobs again.

It shouldn’t be running, it should just be scheduled for a future time.

Awesome thanks have to wait until after midnught my time so better go and watch the live T20 cricket in India or have some sleep thanks

How did you go with this Mark3738? I am having the same problem but my sale dates won’t start or finish. I have tried deactivating woocommerce and reactivating it, I then tried deleting it and reinstalling it. I have a daily free download that obviously needs to change each day, but unless I go into the product on the actual scheduled day and update without changing anything else it does not change, This defeats the purpose of having a scheduled sale date. I have been struggling with this for about 10 days now. I would be so grateful for some assistance.

    Alice.

Hi embroideryallsorts – even with the changes suggested by Mike Jolly above I still can’t get it to work – I can schedule start dates ok it seems, but the end date doesn’t work.

Something you may need to check is if you have any caching plugins running as they can certainly interfere, although your problem with a start date is beyond me too.
