Scheduled Posts Never Posting

Hello. I’m very new to work press. I had to migrate to it from Quick Blogcast because that tool is being done away with. My new blog site is https://www.thetwelfthstep.com. I write usually days ahead of time for my entries and on my previous blog I was able to schedule posts for days and even weeks ahead of time. There were no stipulations on how they get posted. When that time came up, it was just posted. So far not a single one on my WordPress blog has posted that I’ve scheduled. I read on some of the topics here that someone needed to visit the site to trigger it, which made no sense, but I went to my site like I was an outside user and that didn’t do anything. I also don’t even get a missed schedule like other topics were saying. For example, I had a posting tonight that was supposed to go at 12:01 am. I waited until 1:15am and it never got posted, it never had a missed schedule message or anything. I installed WP Missed Schedule Plug In and that did absolutely nothing to help in this matter. Is this just a limitation to Word Press that I can’t schedule or a bug or what? I’m really not techie at all and have a 3rd grade level understanding of WordPress lingo so for whomever helps me, please, guide me in baby steps ok? Thanks for any help in advance from any user who can help me get my scheduled posts postings. Oh and my time zone is set as EST, I did check that to make sure it was fine.
