Scheduled posts 'Missed schedule'

    Hey all,

    I’ve set up a load of posts to be scheduled on my site and none of them have been – they now all say ‘Missed schedule’.

    I understand that this has somthing to do with wp-cron, but I don’t really know anything about that. Does anybody know what causes this and how I can fix it?

    Right then, I found a rather bloated plugin that seems to be for just this job and have cut it down to the following function – testing on my live site and working fine.

    I’d still like to know how to find out and fix what is causing WP to fail at this job if possible though, so if any one knows any thing I’d be greatful if you could post it.
