Whenever we schedule a post within WordPress the Social Plugin no longer ‘schedules’ the post to go to Twitter and Facebook, it publishes the posts straight away, meaning the links posted within Facebook and Twitter lead to Page Not Found errors.

    We’re using 2.11 Social.

Has anyone else had this happen? Is there a fix?

  • I use this feature with success, but I think there is a bug. Follow these steps:

    1. get your post ready
    2. set the publish date in the future
    3. check the “Yes” radio in the broadcast box
    4. hit the big Schedule button

now you’ll see broadcast options with a “Schedule” button.

    DO NOT follow this workflow:

    1. get your post ready
    2. set the publish date in the future
    3. hit the big Schedule button
    4. hit the Broadcast button and fill out the form

    That seems to send immediately.

same problem. as a result all scheduled posts are on FB and leads to Page not Found

? What big schedule button. I only have the native WP schedule button.

BTW same issue. Just slammed some “scheduled for monday” confidential info on FB!!
