Scheduled posts aren't being published

    A few weeks ago I noticed that blog posts I schedule in the future aren’t being published at the appointed time. In the Posts section in the back end, it says “Missed Schedule” in red under the blog post that was supposed to be published at a certain time. What is going wrong? I recently updated to 3.5.2 from 3.5.1 and the problem still persists. I am able to go in and manually update the blog post so it gets published after it was scheduled to be published, but why doesn’t it automatically get published anymore, like it is supposed to?

    So far, deactivating all of the plugins didn’t work, nor did changing the theme. I’ll try to figure out the other two suggestions you made soon.

    I think I’ve discovered the problem. It’s a server hosting issue, not one involving any WordPress plugin or anything like that. The problem isn’t solved yet, but we should have it fixed pretty soon.

    We switched server hosting companies, and the new server only recognizes scheduled tasks that come from itself. This is a security precaution to prevent malware from scheduling destructive tasks. However, somewhere in the WordPress code it still has the old server’s information, so it appears to the new server that an outsider is trying to schedule tasks when I schedule blog posts to be published. We’ll have to locate the offending information and replace with the new information so it will match up. Crazy.

    What did you have to do to the wordpress install to make this work again? I am having a similar issue.
