    What is your OS?
    Which server do you use?

    Mac OS 10.9.3 and I think the hosting server is linux.

    I am not quite sure what is the “source for PHP′s date/time”, but apparently it is not the frontend user time on mac, so you can′t test that way. What you can do for testing purpose is create a calendar for a past year and output that.

    You sure it’s not running off the server time of your WordPress installation? In theory, it would only use your local system date if you were running a local install of WordPress, I believe.

    I have a hard time to find a reliable source which explains where apache/php gets its time from… does somebody can help?
